My name is Arielle (ARR-ree-EL), a name that is constantly butchered and everyone is interested in the origin. The truth is that while in the pregnant with me, my mom watched General Hospital where one of the characters was named Arielle. My mom felt as though this woman was beautiful both inside and out, she hoped that by naming me Arielle I too would emit that type of essence.
Over the years I have met a lot of people trying to decode what my name means everything from ‘beautiful one,’ ‘lioness,’ ‘the sun shines brightly,’ and ‘mermaid.’ Now some of these have been from men trying to use it as a pickup line so I take it with a grain of salt. But yesterday my Uber driver gave me the Russian translation of ‘the one on top,’ he then claimed that there were great things getting ready to happen in my life, I just had to go and achieve my goals.
This motivation from him jump started me into a place where I am reenergized to claim my best year yet. Where I had already fallen into an apathetic slump I am finalizing things and ready to handle business. I wanted to share this with you all because I do feel that this is the year for all of us! There is enough room at the table for all of us to eat, so you get to working on your idea as well.
So, stop scrolling through your social feeds and get to work on whatever it is that you do. If it is an entrepreneurial endeavor I suggest you go my bookshelf and look at my current book.
