Have you ever come up with a genius problem solving solution that never left the safe space of your head and then you see it on the internet being marketed months later?
Too many times, this has been my truth, I think of an amazing idea that lives in my head rent free. Instead of putting it out there I become paralyzed by the thought of ‘Where do I start.’ I end up stunting my start time or question the greatness of the idea. On the flip side, I see my male counterparts making moves on half brained ideas and making them successful.
As a female entrepreneur, I want to harness my B.D.E. and begin to put my ideas and myself out there. I refuse to let things sit in a perpetual loading mode because I am afraid of what others may think.
As of March 2020 “World-wide, 6.2% of women owned established businesses, compared to 9.5% of men,” according to Score, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.
It is no longer time to sit on that great idea without any action. Start TODAY with a survey to see if your product or service is a problem solving solution for people and if they are willing to pay for it. Film that TikTok, post that photo, I promise that you won’t be alone in this venture, because I too will be joining you in finding more ways to step out of the shadows and into the limelight.
